Jake Silverstein is the editor in chief of The New York Times Magazine. He was the editor of Texas Monthly from 2008 to 2014, during which time the magazine was nominated for 13 National Magazine Awards and won four. A former contributing editor to Harper's Magazine, he is the author of Nothing Happened and Then It Did: A Chronicle in Fact and Fiction, which was published in 2010 by W.W. Norton.

Sydney Levin is currently the executive video producer at T Brand Studio, where she leads a team that creates linear documentary­-style videos as well as VR films. Previously, Sydney served as the head of homepage video at AOL.com. At AOL, she grew video consumption from 50,000 views a day to more than 10 million. She is an instructor at NYTEducation: The School of The New York Times on how to tell brand stories with video and is a graduate of the Boston University College of Communications.

Sebastian Tomich was named senior vice president, Advertising and Innovation in April 2015. In this role Tomich leads The Times’s branded content business and studio and steers the company’s advertising innovation efforts. He also oversees the national integrated sales teams in the entertainment, corporate, healthcare and advocacy categories, along with the D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas sales offices.

Michael attended Bowdoin college where he played baseball and captained the squash team. Michael was a professional squash player, ranked #31 in the world in doubles.
